LIFX support
« on: February 15, 2015, 09:09:50 am »
I saw the request for Phillips Hue but what about LIFX?  I think these lights are much more practical and should be included as part of the Home Automation package.  Don't worry this wont stop me from purchasing another 2 Alomond+ as I think they will be something great.  WiFi alone is much better than my previous router.

Oh, any chance you added bluetooth somewhere hidden in there?  Would be great as I have an IR blaster that works off Bluetooth.

We might be adding this down the road, but I don't have an ETA. We know many of our Kickstarter backers also supported LIFX, so it's sort of planned, but don't expect it in the next firmware.

Bluetooth, not going to happen for now and it wouldn't be that easy supporting the various devices, especially not an IR blaster as we'd have to make an entire remote control UI for it.

I'll throw my request in here for support for LIFX bulbs. I love mine and would be pretty stoked to be able to access them via my Almond+.

Adding my voice here as well. Any progress on this?
