That still wouldn't explain the lack of traffic with 80MHz enabled though..
I've got a few 802.11n devices (iPad, 2x iPhones, Macbook Air, Wireless bridge device, Nexus 4, Nexus 7) that are 802.11n working just fine on 5GHz with 80MHz channels enabled.
I don't have a non-AC 7260 (thanks Intel for your naming scheme making things to simple to understand...) available to try though, only the AC variant, which seems to work without issue for me.
Intel cards and drivers tend to be pretty good in my experience so even if it is the non-AC variant, I'd be surprised if there was a problem directly with the card or drivers themselves.
What's weird is, I definitely have no RADIUS/802.1X enabled on my Almond+ - they are both set to just WPA2-AES PSK, I'm still getting an occasional entry mentioning RADIUS during a client association. It appears to only happen at random, definitely not every single client connection, and the clients that have had the entry appear during association have worked fine for me. They also don't get the message every time they associate, just occasionally.
Most odd. Thankfully causing no problems for me. It's quite funny getting 45MB/sec over wireless too
