so as you can see (in the attached picture..some of the lamp section was cut off) i am trying to make a simple rule between the times of 10:45pm and 7:00am if motion is detected on motion sensor #1 then turn on lamp #1

this worked in R69, but i deleted it by accident (i was unable to edit the rule..which was frustrating)

i then had a second rule that when motion was not detected on motion sensor #1 then lamp #1 would be turned off.
can you combine the rules into one ...instead of having one to turn the lamp on, and one to turn the lamp off.

also, as you see .. the time zone is saying that it is different from my computer, but it actually is not. everything is updated by the SAME ntp server.

any ideas?

i think i figured it out....im a dope.....however, why can i note configure the time between 10:00pm and then to 7:00am the next day? everytime i try to setup time for the trigger to happen from PM to AM ... i receive  invalid time selected. that makes zero sense...

what am i doing wrong there?

but if i do AM to AM ...its valid... as seen in the second image

this is an example of the rules i have to create to just turn on one lamp and turn off the same lamp if motion detected or not.

very wonky...i am not sure if there is a better way of doing this, and i am stupid...if so...please feel free to let me know!   :o

I was having the same issue. The work around I found was to create two separate rules. For example one that reads 10:00pm to 11:59pm and then one that reads 12:00am to 7:00am. Hope that makes sense.

The time issue is a known bug. For the moment, you will have to create two rules one till 11:59 PM and another from 12:00 AM.
