Hello,

I'm a bit confused.  I updated to the latest firmware and ran through the wizard to put the A+ in AP mode.  It can't detect the internet.
The WAN port pulls a DHCP reserved address from my Win2012 server just fine but the port shows no ip.
I have a Comcast Business Class SMC router with a Cisco ASA 5505 Firewall/Router then a NetGear 16 Port Gigabit switch then the A+ plugged into that.
It seems to work when a device connects wirelessly.  I can access network resources and the internet.

Hello,

I think, if it is not already done, you should hard reset A+ by pushing and holding the white button on the top left of the A+ with the help of the stylus for at least 10 seconds.
Almond + will restart and you will be able to reconfigure the AP mode again.

Do you mean the screen on the almond where it shows you each interface? Mine is like that too oin AP mode. It shows its IP on the status page though.

Mine didn't show the IP address in AP mode until I rebooted the Almond. Even then, it didn't show the IP for about 3 minutes after. Now it works fine.

I logged onto the A+ admin site via a hard wire connection.  I reset the device.
I plugged it directly into the Comcast Business Class Modem/router/Gateway (not an desired config at all btw) and ran through the wizard as a router.
Since there is no DHCP on that device it failed but after switching it to Static it worked and said it was fully connected.
I was able to verify the IP address on the status page was correctly showing on the WAN port.  However my laptop hard wired to the LAN port showed a green connected but no ip.

I then moved the A+ behind the ASA 5505 and ran the wizard to move to AP mode.
A+ received the reserved DHCP address but now shows internet disconnected in the status page.  On the Network subpage of status, it's now showing that I have a connection on WAN and LAN4 ports but is again set to no ip.

I'm going to try a hard reset using the button and see if there is any change.

<edit>
No change :(

Any suggestions?

So the plot thickens.  Since the A+ doesn't see the internet, I can't link the device to my securifi account.

When I press the get code button I get:

"Linking Failed!  Almond is offline."

There's an issue with the AP mode using the WAN port and we're working on fixing it. Try one of the LAN ports for now, but note that the cloud service won't work if you do this.

Thank you Lars.
Right now the only real problem is getting access to the portal and app. But for me that isn't an immediate problem. I'll wait for a firmware update.
