I have this sensor and I'm getting the same thing.
You can connect it to the Almond+, but when you check the sensor from the UI, it'll always say open, even if the sensor is closed.

This is most likely a bug, which we found today and will hopefully have corrected in the next firmware which should be out in two weeks.
