Password on screen, device dropping wifi,
« on: May 30, 2015, 08:04:48 am »
I was also an early Kickstarter backer and waited a long time for my almond+.  From its arrival, I never could get it to work as a standalone router for my cable connection.  So I did use it as a very effective range extender.

Now, the wireless signal keeps dropping on the unit.  Worse, it's now got a password screen requiring me to put numbers in.  It didn't have this before.  And I have no idea what the password is.  How do I gain access to see if I need to update firmware etc to cure the other problem?

Cheers
D

@ davlund,

Most probably the screen lock might have been enabled and default pin would be 1234, please try that and check. If it still won't work then only solution would be a factory reset.

FYI, After I upgraded to R076, my pin changed to 0.
