Connect sensors or devices with Bluetooth?
« on: September 05, 2014, 12:30:49 pm »
I have some color changing lightbulbs that only connect through Bluetooth, I know Z-wave and Zigbee devices can be connected but what about Bluetooth?

Thanks

I must admit that I'm not the most qualified person to answer your question, but to my recollection the Almond+ does not ship with a built-in Bluetooth radio. You could connect a Bluetooth dongle, but I am not sure if any BT drivers are included in the firmware for Almond+. Looking at the OpenWRT website I found some recent documentation on USB Bluetooth support here: http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/usb.bluetooth. It seems like if you're savvy enough you might be able to get it going. Hope this helps answer your question.
