Sensor acting differently in each UI
« on: September 22, 2014, 11:20:02 am »
With the update of R066, I was able to connect my z-wave binary on/off w/ Power Meter to the local UI without issue.
The Almond+ recognized the device, I can control it, and gives out real-time power readings.
When I connect to the router via the local network, I can see the device and can control it, but the power readings only update on refresh of the page.
On connect.securifi.com and the IOS app, it shows up as an unsupported device.

So, if the Almond+ recognizes the sensor without issue, why don't rest of the UIs?

Hi Blueiris8,

We have not added support for most of the sensors on our iOS app and our next update would give you access to the sensors through iOS app.

Coming to the connect.securifi.com and Almond+ Web Interface, we have to refresh the page to get the updated status and our concerned team is working on it to resolve the issue.

Thanks for the reply.  So when you fix the connect.securifi UI, it should show as supported, if it's supported by the Almond+ UI?

Actually, the connect site doesn't need manual refresh to see sensor changes, it's just the local web UI for now.

connect.securifi.com is not tied to the local web UI, they're entirely separate. The cloud UI can be updated at any time really, as long as we have a new stable version, whereas the local web UI is only updated once there's a new firmware, so expect it to lag behind about one firmware version in terms of sensor support compared to the LCD UI.
The mobile apps will be updated more regularly most of the time, as they're the easiest to update for us.
