Sensor Notifications and Scheduling?
« on: October 21, 2014, 12:03:47 pm »
Saw a post from 3 months ago on this topic but no activity in the last 2 months on it - so restarting the conversation.

Any updates on plans for notifications/triggered actions and scheduling from sensors? I suspect there are more basic connectivity issues being worked on as a priority - but for home "automation" the device isn't really functional without these options.

How are people working around this now (3rd party options?)

Notifications should be available shortly, we're busy testing that internally. It was supposed to have been released already, but we're a little bit behind the schedule.

Automation is something that we're sadly quite far behind on compared to what we had planned, but it's coming along and we'll be releasing something to the beta testers hopefully soon.

Is there any update on this?  I was happy to see that my flood sensors are supported but it doesn't serve much purpose if I can't get notified about a flood.  Thanks.

@ icemanaccord,

Please update the Almond+ firmware to the latest version and also the app, that should take care of the issue.
