Qubino flush on/off thermostat
« on: November 02, 2014, 09:24:39 am »
I received a Qubino thermostat yesterday and tried to pair it with the Almond+. Unfortunately, it is not recognized properly.
The generic GET/SET commands do not work as well, they should enable turning the thermostat on/off and reading its state (according to the documentation at least).

I got the thermostat working properly using openhab. I am using firmware R066.

Support for set point thermostats is coming in the next firmware release. Not sure if we'll have support for that specific product though, but let's wait and see.

I just flashed R067 and now the thermostat is properly recognized!
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working as I can't hear the thermostat's relay clicking when changing the set point above or below the ambient temperature.
The current set point is also not retrieved when opening the sensor screen.

This is still a nice step forward :)

I guess they're doing something differently from Danfoss, Secure and Eurotronic, as they're the only set point thermostats that we've tested so far.
