Home Automation / Scheduling
« on: November 22, 2014, 11:54:18 am »
Hello,

I was just wondering when the home automation and scheduling features were going to be introduced?  I'm about to drop my security company which provides the ability to schedule lights, control door locks, etc. and was hoping the Almound+ would act in it's place.

Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't have an exact date. Notifications will be the first thing that's ready and as I've posted elsewhere, R069 contains the code needed on the Almond+ side, the Android app is mostly done, not sure about iOS, but what still needs work is something on the cloud side and I'll try to find out next week if they have an ETA on when that'll be done.

Hi,

Patiently waiting but this is the reason I purchased the Almond +.
Right now without scheduling and triggers it is useless...

Thanks

Yeah, we're well aware of it and we're working hard on getting it ready as soon as we can. Scheduling will be part of the automation and you'll be able to set days of the week and time of the day(s). We'll be revealing more details once we have finalized the UI, although we're almost there, but these things aren't quite as easy to as it might seem as there's a lot of underlying code that has to come together.
