No package lists available | Under "Software"
« on: January 30, 2015, 01:35:08 pm »
I have been reading about some packages that I would like to try out, but under Software in the OpenWRT interface, it tells me that there is no package list available.

When I SSH into the router and try to use the package manager, it is unable to find any packages.

The alphabetized list of available packages is also empty. Refreshing does nothing....

Is this feature not yet supported, or is there some manual commands I need to run on the commandline to "enable" package management.

Appreciate it!

@ rhys100,

We are not maintaining a repo of pre-compiled packages on our servers, hence, there is no link in the Almond+ to get the packages. Hence, it would not allow us to download and install any package.

Are there anyway for me to get the packages? I think I've deleted some packages and now all gone literally.

Do a hard reset and it'll restore the router back to it's default settings. Make sure you back up the settings first, so you can restore them after the reset. This won't affect any sensors you've added. Not sure about rules/scenes though.
