Australian Zigbee sensors

I have the Australian version of the Almond+ with the Zigbee radio which meets Australian standards.
When sourcing Zigbee sensors (i.e. the Nietzsche Enterprise WZB-SSM706) do I need to match the sensor to the Aust standard Zigbee radio in the Almond+ or are the sensors generic?

ZigBee is a global standard, so you can get ZigBee sensors (as long as they're supported) from anywhere in the world.
Z-Wave is the issue, as you'd have to get Australian specific Z-Wave devices.

Hello Lars,
If the device is using ZigBee Home Automation Profile, does it mean it can definitely integrate with Almond+?

I can't guarantee that it'll work, as not all ZigBee HA 1.2 devices are broadly compatible.
For example, iControl, Lowe's and Control4 in the US has custom firmwares that makes it either hard or impossible for us to support some of their devices.
I take it you've seen the list of compatible devices?

I've added a number of new devices this week, some of them ZigBee, some of them Z-Wave.
