HP laserjet loses IP address
« on: March 12, 2015, 02:58:58 pm »
My HP laserjet400 M425dn loses its ip address after some period of time, switching to a 169.* address.  If I powercycle my almond+ the printer gets its address properly via DHCP and I am able to access it over the network again.  This has been a persistent issue with both this printer and my last printer, which I unfortunately replaced because I thought the printer was busted but it's really just the router not doing something correctly.

I've tried both DHCP and static IP and something always causes the printer to loses its connection.  The printer is plugged in via ethernet.

Which firmware is that on? I've reported this to the software team, but more details would be helpful.
