For those applications where a momentary switch is better or a binary switch, just create a rule that once the switch is turned on, wait a few seconds then turn the switch off.  It worked for this application (I set a 12 second wait time)

That's what I did with mine, as the momentary functionality wasn't working.  Although, I didn't put any kind of delay in. When the button is turned on, it is immediately turned off, and works perfectly.

Ok, good news, the GD00Z will be fully compatible from the next firmware, although for now, it'll only be via the LCD UI until the other developers gets a chance to add it into the local web UI, cloud UI and apps.
