Sensor logs downloadable?
« on: May 27, 2015, 10:12:16 pm »
I see the sensor logs are available in the Android app. Are these downloadable or accessible in any other way? I'd like to do things with power usage data.

Thanks

I am also interested in sensor logs for my own data mining.  I get some of this information from the notifications, but I would really like to obtain this information without the (sometimes annoying) notifications.  Any current ways to do this is fine.  I don't need any fancy interface.

Of course you can get sensor logs, no problem.

There isn't a button in the IOS app yet. And there isn't a button on the LCD User Interface but they are out there in the \tmp directory on the Almond +

You can share out any subdir on the Almond+ as a network drive that you can access from any other device.

So share the tmp drive if you want an have a look at the files, or copy the files of \tmp to another subdir and share that subdir out as a mount point.

SecureComp... I think you need to start a section on the wiki "SecureComp's Tips and Tricks" because you seem to have a pretty useful, and more in depth, knowledge of the inner workings of the Almond+ than most of us.

Hi SecureComp,

how does one gain access to the tmp logs?

I tried to add \\10.10.10.254\tmp as a network location but it doesnt work

kept telling me the folder doesnt appear to be valid and that's an error

i see /tmp as a mount point under Mount Points -> Mounted File System but somehow i am unable to access and add it as a network location!
