Is there any partition size limit when it comes to streaming media via DLNA?
I can only stream media via DLNA to my TVs when I connect USB sticks to my A+. Whenever I connect my 1TB Toshiba USB drive, I can copy files to and from the A+ but streaming does not work anymore. (Error: File format is not supported).

Is this a known issue?

There is no limit for the partition size when it comes to DLNA.

We have got no issues in playing the streaming movies through DLNA, as you are receiving the message regarding file format. It could be an issue with the player or file. Let us know what is the file format and the DLNA client.

Nope, it is definitely the A+.
You are right, the partition size does not matter. If I plug the hard-drive in the A+ and play a movie, it works. If the hard drive goes to sleep and I try it a while later, the movie (any movie) does not load anymore.
I have multiple DLNA clients (Mybook lives etc) at home and can guarantee you it is the A+ that has an issue here.

I need some additional information to understand more about the issue. Does the hard drive has settings to put it in sleep mode and if possible let us know the details about the hard drive.

Sorry for the late reply. It is a TOSHIBA 1TB USB3 hard drive.

I believe it has a sleep setting. It goes to sleep when not used for a certain amount of time. I am sure that the sleep setting is the culprit because the drive is not waking up anymore when connected to the A+.
I think it is definitely worth looking into since more and more external HDDs go to sleep after a certain amount of time.
As I said last time, movies play fine until the drive goes to sleep. Let me know what other info you need Ashok.
