Internet keeps cutting off - Uverse 3801HGV DMZPlus
« on: September 28, 2015, 08:20:23 pm »
I setup the modem I got from AT&T, the 3801HGV, to use DMZPlus for the Almond+, which gives it the public IP as the DHCP address. I did that so I could use the port forwarding on the router, but ever since then the router loses internet access about every 10 minutes. If I restart, or go to the Internet settings -> configure internet -> next, then the internet starts working again. But it's seriously annoying, and I cannot figure out why it keeps disconnecting. Also, I can plug in my laptop to the modem, and while my laptop on the Almond+ says no internet (and I cannot even hit the modem) the laptop plugged in works just fine. I also tried taking the settings it had under DHCP and set those under the STATIC settings, and had the same issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

@ Naeblis,

Try to setup the AT&T 3801HGV modem in to complete bridge mode and then setup the Almond+ in Router mode.
