Cannot use Almond+ and Almond (original) on the same network
« on: January 12, 2016, 01:48:42 pm »
Just received my new Almond+, I already had an Almond (original) as a range extender, when installing the new one it did not go so well, finally gave up and replaced the original with the + and everything went well. After testing the new extender I tried to connect the old one also as an extender but the wifi went crazy. Is this because only one range extender can be used or do I have to take extra steps to set up my network? maybe installing the original thru the +?

No different than other extenders, APs and such, check for channel interference and try using different SSID names.
