False Alarm?
« on: February 11, 2016, 02:00:24 pm »
Had the Siren kick off at 7:55AM today.
Just happened to have it next to me when it went off, always fun. The dog was not amused.

The ruleset sensed motion in the garage and fired off the siren.  That should only happen when in the Away mode or Perimeter Armed mode based on my current ruleset.

A glance at the logs and I think it evaluated that the system was set to Away? It wasn't though and that's my concern.

Fired logs off this morning via the Android app with a problem description.

This happened once before, at 3AM, but I believe AWAY mode may have been inadvertently activated when checking Notifications earlier in the evening.

Which reminds me, it's way too easy to accidentally change Home and Away on the smaller touch screens. If you go to click on the Notifications icon, you can accidentally change your mode. There ought to be a confirmation dialog for changing Home and Away, it's kind of a big deal. Or at least my dog thinks so.  ;D

@ SecureComp,

Got your point which is a valid one, let me discuss that with our team I am positive we could implement this.
