Almond+ & Multiple Canary Home Security Devices
« on: February 21, 2016, 12:58:38 pm »
Does anyone else have multiple Canary home security devices attached to their network through the Almond+ router?  I had to separate my three Canary devices (1 wired, 2 wireless) by virtual Canary location (same physical) to eliminate video capture issues.  Before Canary's latest upgrades,  video capture worked as designed for a couple of weeks after enabling wireless client isolation on the Almond+.

I am quite curious to learn of anyone else with my Canary woes before I get back in touch with Canary.

Thanks for your insight.

I have multiple Canary devices as well.  However, I have setup my network using 2 different Router/Access points.  The Almond+ powers my internal network and I have a separate cable device for all of out cloud home automation devices that the Almond+ plugs into.  This keep the network use separate and some of the 802.11B/G devices off of my 802.11AC internal networks so I can maintain optimal streaming speeds.
