Xiaomi Zigbee devices

Has any one tried the Xiaomi zigbee devices for the Almond plus?

These devices are 1/2 cost compared to all of other zigbee devices on Amazon. If they work purchasing these devices would be much cheaper to get a full house of smart devices.

Yes,  that would be awesome if they're compatible,  but I doubt they are. All I could find is one forum post stating they would not pair with a Smartthings controller and it, like the Almonds,  requires Zigbee HA 1.2. I sent an email to support. We'll see what they say...
