Just my two cents, I'm with Matt, much easier to kick back in a chair and use a web interface (well design app would be ok and command line even ok) than peck at a small screen. I'm always inches from a device with a web interface, SSH access, and/or app access but rarely am I actually anywhere near my Almond. Most often when setting anything up, I'd rather get it active on my network and then handle the nuts and bolts from my chair or remotely. The LCD is great for a display of information but for setup, tinkering, tweaking, etc. So while the LCD might have the settings available all I can think of is "yuck" in terms of doing any real setup with it.
