Leaksmart sensor support
« on: November 29, 2016, 10:32:37 pm »
I picked up a pair of these on clearance https://goo.gl/images/dxCVDF the almond plus added them as a sensor but it automatically populated it as a temperature device and nothing else. If I can get these working as advertised I'd want to look into getting a shutoff valve as well.
3x Cree connected bulbs - mostly working, some toggle failures using the app; Monoprice PIR - working, waiting for temperature rules;  Trane Thermostat - working; Linear T500Z - working; 3x GE outlets - working; Aeon G2 micro switch, working.

I have the valve and it paired perfectly as a binary (on/off) device that opens/closes the valve no problem.
I can confirm it worked with Almond+ and Almond 3.
Almond 3 mesh handling the home.

They have some logs on the sensors trying to get them to work as a flood detector as well. And as Fillibar stated those valves work very well. Which means you can use another water sensor until the other ones are supported. The smartthings ones work very well. (temp and flood)

I found a project to get these working with other HA setups, the code they used is here.

https://github.com/ericvitale/ST-leakSmart-Sensor/blob/master/devicetypes/ericvitale/leaksmart-sensor.src/leaksmart-sensor.groovy

Can I use this to make a profile or is securifi the only one who can add support?

Only Securifi as far as I know. Have you tried adding it again recently? I haven't tried to add mine again since the recent updates.
