almond app/ alexa freakout
« on: January 28, 2017, 09:29:50 pm »
I had an issue with the almond app and it listed all of my devices a seemingly infinite amount of times. I could just keep scrolling forever. all of a sudden alexa tells me that there is more than one device with that name for any of the sensors that I request, even though she only has one sensor listed for every sensor i have. I tried disabling the smart home skill and enabling it again. rescanning shows the number of sensors I have, alexa still thinks there are duplicates. any advice?
3x Cree connected bulbs - mostly working, some toggle failures using the app; Monoprice PIR - working, waiting for temperature rules;  Trane Thermostat - working; Linear T500Z - working; 3x GE outlets - working; Aeon G2 micro switch, working.

I don't know about the app issue, but when I got home from work the other day Alexa was telling me the same. However in the Alexa app deleteing all sensors, and rescanning fixed it. To me it seemed like more an Alexa issue since it the problem also included a group created in just the Alexa app.
