display timeout
« on: June 12, 2017, 01:59:12 pm »
I am on my second Almond.  The first one became unreadable after a few months.

The replacement is fine, but I notice the display never dims or shuts off.  This is likely what washed out the first one.

I set the display timeout to 60 seconds.  Unchecked the hours it should display.  Still it never goes out.

How can I set this?

@ flyover

In order to put Almond in sleep mode, please switch Almond's LCD screen back to the home page post selecting the "Time" (60 seconds ) for screen time out option.
