I've built an Arduino project based on the ESP8266 microcontroller with built-in Wi-Fi. It has been working fine for a long time, but suddenly it can no longer connect to the Almond+. It still connects to my ASUS router with no problems.
The only recent change I've made to the Almond+ is to upgrade the firmware from R090 to R093. Is there ANY reason this might have messed anything up? Any other ideas?
The ESP8266 scans for Wi-Fi access points, selects the one with the strongest signal, and attempts to connect to it. (Evidently it only supports 2.4GHz.)
My MacBook Pro and my iPhone can still connect to the Almond+ with no problem. This makes it sound like a problem with the ESP8266, but as I said it still connects to my ASUS router.
Also, is there any documentation of the various Wi-Fi modes like "11NGHT40PLUS"?
