R73?
« on: May 02, 2015, 12:59:58 am »
Was it my imagination or wasn't there an announcement and release of R73 earlier?  I updated my Almond+ to it as well...

I saw the announcement up there too. Then I hit the refresh button and it was gone. And R73 wasn't available on Almond+ LCD.
Guess it was pulled.

I saw it too, there were 2 topics, one with the announcement, one with the download-link.
Announcement disappeared, download was changed to 72.

I'm lost now, I was on 72ax, I flashed 72 from the link. Did I downgrade?? :-/

Absolutely there was an announcement and I did go update to "73". I have the new option in Rules to use "Home/Away" as a condition. I hope I don't have some buggy firmware now! Why did they not post some information about pulling it?

We regret the inconvenience caused, unfortunately, we had a bug with boot file which was causing issues on few cases. Hence, management decided to remove it for now and soon it would be updated on our server as well on forum.

Yes, R073 has been pulled for the time being. A boot file bug was bricking some random units post the flash. Developers and testers are on it and would be  back soon.

@ xtbs26,

As mentioned earlier, it is happening with only few cases and if your Almond+ is back to the home screen then we shouldn't be having any issues. I have installed the R073 on my Almond+ and have not received any issue and it's been working fine so far. Just in case, if you are facing any issues then please do get in touch with our support team at (support@securifi.com) we will take care of it on a high priority.

Are there an alpha/pre-beta/beta firmware testers? If so I'd like to sign up to be a tester. If not I'd still like to sign up to be a tester.
3x Cree connected bulbs - mostly working, some toggle failures using the app; Monoprice PIR - working, waiting for temperature rules;  Trane Thermostat - working; Linear T500Z - working; 3x GE outlets - working; Aeon G2 micro switch, working.

When do you think R73 might be Re-released?

@ Neel737,

Our software team is working hard to get it re-released as early as possible with out any bugs, however, I don't have any ETA. If I get any estimate date would be happy to post it with out fail.

Could those of us who missed the feature list get a "preview" of what is going to be changed when it comes back? I have a couple issues I am hoping are going to be closer to being ironed out in 073. Thank you. As always, All your efforts are appreciated for an awesome product.

@ K1m,

We have added support for few Z-wave and Zigbee devices.

Is there any plan to support "Aeon Labs DSB09104-ZWUS - Z-Wave Smart Energy Meter"? If not in R73, could you please add it to your support list at some point?
Those who want to get one, now it is really cheap at Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DIBSKFU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). I paid a lot more for this one. It's a first generation one but it gets the job done nicely.

Although I'm no longer at Securifi, yes, there's a plan to add support for it and it was already in R073 and a couple of previous beta firmwares.
