Question about Schedule

I have Netgear Router (setup as Router switch, Grace period 1, kids and onschedule) which is directly connected to Almond+. It is on schedule to provide internet access to kids computers.
If I need to let this router get internet access during off schedule time, I turn it ON in schedule for that hour then reboot the Almond+. This is the only way I know that Netgear Router gets internet access so that my kids can use their computers.

Is there other some way without rebooting Almond+?

Any possibility of removing the Netgear router and connect the kids devices directly to Almond+, so that you can schedule the internet access with out needing to reboot.
