Almond plus and regular almond as WAP
« on: September 01, 2014, 10:33:18 pm »
I have my almond plus as my main router and my regular almond connected to it by Ethernet cable. I have done a factory reset and rebooted both of them however the almond says not connected to the internet. Is there settings I need to change to make the almond work as a WAP.
Almond+, 2 flood sensors, 1 motion sensor, 1 Z-wave water valve, 2 Aeon Labs DSC06106-ZWUS - Z-Wave Smart Energy Switch, 1 Enerwave ZWN-RSM1S Z-Wave Relay, 1 GE Z-Wave Outdoor Module, 1 Enerwave ZWN-RSM2 Z-Wave Smart Dual Relay,

The problem here is that both routers would be in the same default IP address, i.e. 10.10.10.254.
The easy solution for this problem is to set the Almond up in AP (Access Point) mode via the LCD UI, as it'll then get an IP address from your Almond+.
